Junior Competition Postponed until the 20th September 2024

North Ryde RSL – the owners of the Grounds have TG Millner has closed the grounds to all sport, claiming they are unable to maintain the fields for sport.

This decision came about after they found out that the fields were planning to be rezoned, by Ryde Council, therefore preventing them from selling the fields to developers to build more housing on, therefore losing the playing fields forever.

How this suddenly meant they could not keep the fields open and keep their commitment to our club, we are not sure about, but it is a decision they have made.

As a result, we have been looking for alternative fields, which in an area where most parks are pretty well utilised, is proving difficult.

As a result, the competition will be delayed until the 20th of September 2024.

This means the Friday and Sunday rounds have been postponed.
